Guangzhou Aerotropolis Development District (GADD) China-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Business Park officially launched on August 11. Covering an area of 670,000 km2, the Business Park is only 3 km to Baiyun International Airport with total investment over 4 billion Yuan.

It is one of Guangzhou’s vital construction projects in 2016, the first phase will be completed by the end of 2017 and the second phase will put into service by 2019. 8 enterprises including Cosco Guangzhou International Freight Co., ltd reached agreements on the investment signing ceremony.
China has signed free trade agreement with Australia and New Zealand, two major members of TPP, respectively before. It is believed that the project is conducive to the application of agreement. Meanwhile, Guangzhou will continuously playing a vital role in the next round of opening up.
